Helping People, Communities, and Organizations Thrive
Our work is interdisciplinary and inter-relational. We understand that sustainable social change requires aligning organizational strategy with the lived experiences and expressed needs of historically marginalized communities.
One of the ways RUMINATION GARDEN puts this belief into practice is through cultural advocacy. We work with mission-driven organizations to bring their visions to life in ways that communities can see, feel, participate in, and connect to. This might mean translating research into a visual storytelling campaign, designing a ritual to express collective grief, or developing a performance-based public dialogue around an important community issue. We collaborate across fields, sectors, and practices.
Our consulting practice centers :
Long-term strategic planning. We guide organizations through visioning processes that account for both structure and spirit; centering that strategies reflect who they are and what they believe in.
Equity-centered change management that supports organizations in navigating transformation in ways that are inclusive and intentional.
Values-based philanthropy and resource strategy that aligns development goals with mission and identity. We help organizations tell their story in ways that inspire investment and support authentic relationships with donors and stakeholders.
In all of this work, we move at the pace of community trust. We believe strategy must be relational, adaptive, and grounded.
